Kids don't improve social skills by sitting in front of video games/computer screens at camp.

I'm re-posting this article because I'm deeply concerned by how many parents of kids who have social learning needs (ADHD, Asperger's and higher-verbal autism) are permitting their children to attend video game camps, computer camps or social skills camps where the kids spend the majority of their day interacting with screens instead of similar-age peers. There is solid evidence that shows the optimal amount of time kids should be spending in front of screens is a maximum of 45 minutes on weeknights and 1 hour on weekends. Many camps allow much more than this during the day.
